Autumn’s on its way.

The New Forest really comes into its own at this time of year. The trees are turning to a fantastic display of reds, golds and yellows on a backdrop of evergreens. Of course the weather can be as unpredictable as ever –  I don’t mind what weather I walk in as long as I’ve got the right clothes on, and as long as I’m with a dog! Even the smallest dogs usually don’t mind what’s outside, their philosophy being “Once you’re wet you can’t get any wetter!” and “I know humans like washing towels and covers, because they do it so often!”
