  • Daily routines/habits/social behaviour, medical history and any usual medications taken
  • Any history of the dog attacking/worrying any animals and the consequences of that
  • Veterinary Surgery’s contact details
  • Owners’ usual, holiday and emergency contact details.

An initial meeting and then a trial stay will be agreed between JB Dog Care and the Owner. This will enable JB Dog Care to meet the Dog and accept him/her as a suitable Boarder, as well as giving the Owner an opportunity to observe the environment in which their Dog will be staying.A pack of forms and accompanying information is given to the Owner at the initial meeting so that they can provide JB Dog Care with the required details.

The Dog’s Owner will provide information concerning the Dog’s behaviour during walks and off-lead, if the Owner gives written permission for him/her to be.  JB Dog Care will put a Dog’s lead on at any time to prevent an attack, injury or worrying of any livestock or other animal, as well as in any and all situations which JB Dog Care considers necessary. This will be regardless of whether the Dog’s Owner has given written permission for the dog to be walked off-lead. This is linked to Section 7: Walks and Section 9: Social Behaviour of the JB Dog Care Dog Profile. The Owner, or their named alternative, will be contacted in the event of a health, or other, emergency concerning the Dog.
