Dogs and acorns don’t mix!

I love living under oak trees, but of course at this time of the year, the acorns are starting to drop.  While pigs are turned out onto the New Forest to eat the acorns, dogs’ stomachs are different.  Acorns can cause potentially serious illnesses in dogs; there is a lot of advice on the internet, which is well worth reading, especially as the problem is not only the acorns, but also oak leaves and even any water the leaves might be in.
